What is the Bernie Lean?

Keep Calm

The Bernie Lean was a dance that swept through the Oakland Athletics players and their fans in 2012. The craze can be traced back to Athletics pitcher Jerry Blevins who introduced the song to center fielder Coco Crisp. Crisp imitated the dance in front of his teammates and they loved it. Brandon Inge then made it his walk up song. Since then it has been a predominant theme throughout the A's community, especially during the A's 2012 pennant race. Check out the A's version of the song below which was filmed at the Oakland Coliseum featuring ATM, IMD, Coco Crisp, Josh Reddick and other A's Players and Fans.
